Pros

Great people. Interesting portfolio of projects globally.

Cons

No clear training program. HR is woeful with very little to add to the business.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Over reaction to the corruption scandal has turned to over-correction. Business needs strong leaders who delegate and demand accountability. HR needs to be revamped to a dynamic and fluid body where it can handle better the issues that confront us daily and not just create procedures.

    Pros

    Good resources (library) and benefits

    Cons

Body shopping, unpersonal, non-professional. My mandate as consultant was to charge as much as possible to the customer, no matter the work was useful or not. Fired when mandate was completed, no new mandate was offered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Business ethic must be improved. Befriending with Muammar Gaddafi is one thing, treating customers and employees as cash cows is an other thing. No surprise the company is involved in bribery and money laundrying scandals.

    Pros

    Good wages and benefit package

    Cons

They will make you a fantastic offer and then do a background check after the fact, stating in their offer that they could rescind it and they would, inspite of the employees committment and loyalty to the company. It is the most disorganized and uncaring organization I have every worked for. Because of the recent scandal and bad press, they have taken the code of ethics to the point of being absolutely irrational and impractical.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be involved in your staff, and don't make an offer that you are going to rescind without just cause That's like an "Indian Giver"
