Pros

The best feature of working for SPAR is the ability to set your own dates for when you would like to complete your assignment.

Cons

Sometimes you will not get many hours in a week to work but more will come as you progress over time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Working with SPAR has been easy so far. The company hires and promotes good managers that know how to connect with new merchandisers.

    I have been working at SPAR Group

    Pros

    Spar provides ongoing coverage work that can give a good foundation to build from. The ease of reporting eliminates alot of wasted time and expense.

    Cons

    Spar does not recognize longevity nor dedication. They do not reward outstanding job performance with regular raises or incentives, even when requested.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Reward those merchandisers that have been with you for a long period of time, offer periodic raises in recognition of exemplary job performance.

    I have been working at SPAR Group

    Pros

    the pay, the travel, the people, the time, the differ stores you will see over time, not the same job

    Cons

    contracter, no benifits, no 401 k, the ext time off, the not knowing when you will be working at all

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    hire merchandisers as employees insted of contractors and you will have less friction between some workers, since it is a pay by job, hour and other, you dont know if youll have a lead who cares for the work itself
