I worked at SRA International as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

I was on contract but greatly enjoyed working for my Project Manager and also enjoyed the flexibility and support provided by the leadership.

    Cons

The company was experiencing significant changes and enduring an acquisition, which did not allow for as many growth opportunities.

I worked at SRA International full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Value the input of employees, many different ways to provide input
Great cultures and values that upper management truly believes in

    Cons

Not a lot of upward mobility. You are expected to do the job performed, and they will hire someone if they need more experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote from within, create a Leadership Development Program. This would do a lot to keep talent from leaving.
