I have been working at SRA International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

It's a job. Client work can be rewarding. Integration with client team makes one feel to be at least part of something. Some old leaders coming back which may hold some hope.

    Cons

Very poor morale. No desire to help employees - contract ends next day you are gone. No analysis of employee quality /moves to keep top performers. Non existant training program to cover the various types of clients services supposedly offered. Slashing general employee benefits (eliminating floating holidays - must use hours on the day, cut severance policy in half). Vision of federal market only is very risky and yet to be proven right. Certain leaders retained despite utter failure to deliver.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow the business and if you only know how to cut to show progress or save face than get out.

I worked at SRA International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Large company with diverse set of contracts. Some talented people.

    Cons

Anonymous corporate culture. Poor executive management, no real strategic vision for the company. Awful HR and back-office support. Terrible upward mobility and compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out who the company really is these days. They have cobbled together so many disparate services and customers that SRA's value prop is really unclear. Re-focus again on your people. Morale is terrible and the most important asset of the company (human capital) is not well valued.
