I have been working at SRA International full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Flex schedule on some projects.

Cons

Lots of over compensated, incompetent management layers contributing to cost structure. Management indulges in PR show and long winding emails from time to time to prop up sagging morale of the workforce. HR is the worst run of all departments. Management keeps chipping away dwindling employee benefits to maintain bottom-line versus growing the business. Benefits are rebranded time to time to make it appear like they are providing new and additional benefits.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to bring in corporate efficiency consultants to fix management structure and costs. Hire successful CEO and COOs with proven track record in turning around a declining company to an engine of growth.

    Pros

    I have been given great opportunities, and so far, my career has grown. They definitely believe in honesty and service, which is great.

    Cons

    Changes in benefits are cutting to the bone, and being sold to employees as good for the company. However, SHORT notice given gives us no chance to adjust. Not cool, Mr. CEO.

    Pros

    Good culture, great work/life balance. Project teams communicate effectively

    Cons

    Since the company has gone private, some 'perks' have started disappearing. Vacation time has been cut back, the somewhat okay coffee has been replaced by swill. Effects of budget constraints are evident.
    Also underpaid for the work done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    To retain employees bring back the perks or raise salaries.
