I have been working at SRA International full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

At this point middle management still has the ideals of past leadership.

    Cons

Benefits being cut, promotion structure out the window with employee motivation. The company obviously does not want to keep long term employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it up so the company can be sold to the highest bidder! That is the only explanation for the actions taken by current leadership. It is impossible to believe Ernst Volgeneau is proud of how the company is going. Customers are already suffering because of management's total lack of understanding on the effects of the current string of idiotic decisions. List:

    - Promotion structure being eliminated - You are only as valuable as the billet you are currently filling. People have worked for years to get promoted into titles showing loyalty and expertise and that structure is eliminated overnight. Company survey showed very low scores on promotion ability within the company. What does management do - eliminate the promotion structure - genius! Employees can't complain about a goal that is not officially attainable.

    - Leave for employees at the company for more than 7 years was cut by one week to match someone just joining the company - Loyalty not valued

    - Leave capped at 20 days. Anyone over 20 does does not accrue any leave - Company tells employees 14 days before the policy goes into effect, giving employees no time to schedule leave to get under 20 - Uncaring and completely after the bottom line

    - Protest every contract loss - Bitter and not becoming for future customer relationships

    - CEO attempts to mask benefit cuts in company emails by highlighting benefits that were not cut. Thanks Boss, we get to keep the standard benefits every other gov contractor offers minus the ones you just cut!

Voluntary attrition is currently skyrocketing and only a college hire would benefit from joining the company for the right project.

    Disapproves of CEO
