I have been working at SRA International full-time

Pros

Allows remote work. Some good people to work with, flexible work schedule/locations

Cons

Ineffective and failed management structure/execution in general leading to poor revenue growth, and workforce morale. Constant infighting and turnover in HR department with politicians running the show. Trimming benefits, reducing leave caps, postponing salary raises by changing the end of fiscal year, performance rating codes changed to reduce salary raises etc. Too many to list. Currently in the process of transforming itself into a body shop. Reduction in Force executed whenever there is a management fee shortfall. Some internal departments have excessive managers than engineers/projects. Most managers have no career growth, and replicate the same on their reports. Internal mobility is a joke, and HR and CEO have lost all credibility.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time to sell the company to a professional services provider so that new management can take over, and restore some credibility in operations and general financial outlook

I worked at SRA International full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is a lot of support from management. They offer a lot of training and the company does very well with promoting a culture of diversity.

    Cons

Work/Life balance is inadequate. It is hard to save time up for vacation when you have a family or small children and other obligations. Employees can only accrue 1.25 days per month with the cap set at 15 per year across the board.
