I have been working at ST Electronics (Singapore)

Pros

Flexible time to start and end work.
Tea breaks @ 3pm (unofficial).
Plenty of time to chat in the office.

Cons

Unprofessional and lazy management staff. Can be seen walking around to chat during office hours poking into other people dept business instead of doing their own tasks.

Rearing lots of highly paid long service staff, who keep pushing work to new staffs.
Promotions will only happen to those who bootlicks or submission of resignation waiting for counter offer.

No route of advancement for support staff, as the company focus is on engineering instead.
Esp. Admin executives, promotion only happen after 6 years. That's too long.
Therefore it lead to stagnant pay scale, increment wise ranging from $10 - $68 (for non-promotion)
Promotion increment range from 5% - 7% which is very low.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

To come up with different route of advancement for support staff.
Support staff are equally important in the operation too.

    Pros

Stability. They are also a very large and well-established company. Do not retrench people during recession. Offer training to staffs.

    Cons

You aren't allowed to bring any cameras into the company -- this includes cameras on mobile phones. Hence, you'll be stuck with a non-smart phone during the course of your work there.
    Red tapes
