I worked at STMicroelectronics as an intern (less than a year)

Pros

-People experts in their field!
-You do proper work/projects which are all useful
-Good quality kitchen/canteen on the site.
-No strict policies on uniform
-Football every Monday

Cons

-A bit far from central Bristol

    I have been working at STMicroelectronics full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    It's close to my home, it's international, it's an advanced company. The cantine is good and the atmosphere is very challenging and formative.

    Cons

    The salary is low, the internship and the consultants are widely used. The benefits are not adequate. The french influence is not positive for the italian divisions

    I worked at STMicroelectronics full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Relaxed working environment. Deadline are pretty flexible and people are helpful in general. You get to work with some international teams and it provides good exposure.

    Cons

    After some time you may feel that you are surrounded by not so qualified people.
    Remuneration provided is not appropriate as per one's experience and with respect to other companies.
