“Excellent, but could use some improvement”
Current Employee – been working at STV full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Very flexible work schedule if you are a good engineer.
Very diverse mix of projects.
Pay and benefits here are spectacular.
Cons – Executive management needs to be more hands on.
Upper management needs to be more in tune with the projects.
Lots of shifting around between different projects.
Lots of travel required.
Long hours are expected.
Advice to Senior Management – "Too many generals and not enough soldiers" - i.e. more lower and middle level engineers are needed so the upper level engineers don't get burned out.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
