It was a good experience, paid for half my classes and I made a lot of connections

SUNY Oswego Graduate Assistant (Former Employee) Oswego, NY

ProsPays for half of your tuition
Free employee parking pass
Good to have on resume
Make a lot of connections

ConsYou have to work eighteen to twenty hours a week - this is very hard if you are taking alot of classes

Advice to Senior ManagementI think that they need to publicize these positions more, as well as those in the Student Association, a large majority of the students have no idea these positions exist, which leads to the same people, (have of whom are not capable of doing their jobs), keep getting these positions.

This is especially obnoxious when you are… Advice to Senior Management: Make sure that all the employees are doing their fair share of work in regards to cleaning… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

SUNY Oswego - A Diamond in the Rough

Chief Technology Officer (Current Employee) Oswego, NY

I have been working at SUNY Oswego

Pros: There are many opportunities to make substantial and positive contributions to the institution. The campus is growing both in student population and facilities. … Cons: It is a little isolated from main stream culture and significant services. The weather in the winter can be a little difficult to handle.… Advice to Senior Management: Be more open and transparent with decision-making and communication. Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
