I worked at SWIM Worldwide

Pros

Great money for those who have a strong work ethic. Good promotion prospects. Understanding and supportive management. Good working environment and training. Fantastic staff drink sessions!

Cons

Totally on your own financially from the beginning, a very much a 'sink or SWIM' environment and not for the faint hearted - wouldnt say this is a bad thing though it keeps you on your toes. Hugely competitive atmosphere - sometimes to the detriment of staff relations.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior consultants should not be given a business coordinator without a extensive track record. If a coordinator is to be given a unproven senior they should be given a higer percentage of the final commission.

I have been working at SWIM Worldwide

    Pros

SWIM has a great customer focus; they have relationships with some of their clients as long as 12 years, which means that they have a reputation in the market. SWIM are also market leaders in Sao Paulo, and some other places they operate – with the best rewards that come along with that status.

    Cons

Work at SWIM can be hard, you will have to put effort in to maintain the support that your clients deserve, which is a truly full time job.

It is the worst place I have ever been, there are no systems, no training or real assistance and you pretty on your own.

I have been working at SWIM Worldwide

    Pros

They will talk a good talk of team spirit, but that is about it. Anyone looking for a real career opportunity today should think again, as they do everything to frustrate you in the process.

    Cons

there are so many sub cultures and inconsistencies in this place, and because it is your money being spent, there is absolutely NO real interest in your growth or success. It is like a british clan of some sorts - where you are seen as an outsider, but they will smile in your face and that is about it. If you are looking for a real career opportunity - Avoid this company!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is time to clean the house from top to bottom - far too many competing cultures and agendas at work within the company.
