I have been working at Sabre full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Flexible working hours, working from home or remotely are all acceptable here. If you want to see the world, this is the place to do it, since Sabre has customers and offices in every region of the world.

Cons

In order to be paid market salary, it's often necessary to move around, including leaving the company and coming back. The hours are awful - we're expected to travel overseas, work 12 hour shifts onsite 7 days a week, with little or no compensation during implementations.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

When an employee survey continually says that we're underpaid, overworked, and generally unhappy, don't ask us to fix it. That's YOUR job!

    Relaxed work environment. Great place for recent graduates.

    Cons

    Close ties to the airline. A lot of the leaders come from the airline industry.

    I worked at Sabre full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Sabre is a diverse company with internet products like Travelocity, limited user products like the Reservation System and focused user products in Airline Solutions. This has the potential for good experience. It also means that its hard to pin point a "culture" for the company because it depends on the group that you are in.

    Cons

    Top heavy management limits growth opportunities in the US as does the offshoring and outsourcing which is now part of the DNA.
