Reduce ranks of middle management. Stop asking for employee opinions then allowing managers to get back at people who give truthful ones

This is precisely what they need to do, along with completely re-tooling processes, methodologies and workflows.

Too many project managers and other middle management types who aren't worth the oxygen they breathe. I swear all they do is plan and conduct meetings. Meetings that suck precious time away from people who actually work for a living, and in which nothing is actually accomplished except horrible decision-making.

With the current round of layoffs, I am hoping the company takes this opportunity to give some of these people the boot.
