I worked at Sabre Systems full-time for less than a year

Pros

Good work/life balance, obtainable expectations, good communication between employees at various offices, average health benefits, new headquarters in Warrington, PA as of 2011 in completely new building.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities, lack of direction from specific managers, extremely large gap in salaries between Director and Manager level, headquarters are located in undesireable area.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop stronger career growth plans for mid-level management and weed out poor managers.

    Commute and traffic to office is frustrating at times.

    SPMP is way too complicated, could streamline process better.

    I have been working at Sabre Systems

    Pros

    Training is ok.
    Holiday parties are nice loaded with prizes (from the extra money they keep from contracts).
    Benefits are ok.

    Cons

    Better communication between management and employees should be a priority.
    Low compensation (government pays 100% for contractors, Sabre pays out less than 20%, and keeps 70+% profit).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Enroll in management classes, and get in tune with the people are trying to tell you.
