    Pros

The building has a Tim Horton's (but I hear they're now moving)

    Cons

SG Connect (new system) is a train wreck, turnover is out of control, HR is destroying any reason to work there, Canada is only there to support US customers, Claims has no idea of how to run a call centre, payments are constantly behind in processing, RRSP contribution forgotten often by HR, new ADP system never works, not IT support and no support in general in Canada.

    Advice to Management

Run Canada as a separate business entity as customers expect and keep the US out of the way

    Pros

Decent pay & benefits. That's it.

    Cons

I work in their Canadian office, and the manager there is totally unprofessional, even coming out and apologizing about it. They required us to skip breaks and lunches occasionally. The manager in the Canadian office has absolutely no people skills or managerial skills.. She would flat out accuse you of things that weren't true, then threaten you very subtlety if you pushed back. It's all about favourites there. No job postings are ever posted, just given to her pets. Just recently there was a broken watermain in our building, and we had to stay home. On the third day they made us install software on our home PCs and made us buy new headsets or they'd take it out of our vacation pay. When we originally signed up we were told three weeks vacation, 3 sick days. Then they removed our sick days and take them out of our vacation days now. Manager is very much a bully, and takes a very immature stance when challenged.

    Advice to Management

Learn some people skills. Take a managerial course.
