    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

I work alongside some pretty amazing people. They are for the most part very supportive to their fellow worker and to the customers in general.

    Cons

Low pay, becoming more and more exhausting as hours are cut. Customers are becoming quite annoyed at this and are expressing their frustrations.

    Advice to Management

MORE STAFFING! Line ups at the tills are getting insane and customers are getting ticked off and leaving!

I worked at Safeway full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hires people of different ethnic, education, and social status backgrounds.

    Cons

Minimum wage. High standard dress code and no employer compensation.Medical benefits reduced from keizer to cigna. No longer matches retirement pay. Illegal practices such as adjusting timecards if you work over scheduled hours. Encouraged to work off the clock if you can't finish duties in a timely fashion. Never before witnessed such corporate greed in my life. Prices are high and company is on the decline therefore minimizing future chances for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Treat those on the bottom of the totem pole the way you want to be treated, unless major business changes happen, I doubt half the stores will still be in business in 10 years. Take care of the employees and everything will take care of itself.
