Pros – Many talented individuals willing to help. Many roles to move into.

Cons – Narrow-minded Mgmt often makes it tough for you to advance career into other depts because you're of more value to them.

Advice to Senior Management – Be proud of those you've prepared for a better role. Let them go!!
