Former Employee – worked at Safeway part-time for more than a year

Pros – Good benefits and ability to move within different departments of the store.

Cons – Hours can either be too much or too little. Schedule is very random. One day you're opening, the next you close. Takes a while to get a raise. Secret shoppers are annoying.

Advice to Senior Management – Make sure to check up on the department managers. Some of them let the power go way in to their heads that they become lazy and sit down and get fat doing so.
