Pros

Area worked in was realtively low lever however always made clear advancement was possible not only in chosen line at the time but also if I were wanting to get into different area within the company

Cons

New area of the company at the time and Management at the beginning was clearly throwin into situation with little expierence.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue with overall way of doing things however implement new ideas and regualtions slowly and considerately rather than out of nowhere with no for warning or preperation.

    Pros

    Dynamic, open organization that encourages ideas, innovation, and allows for creativity and unique solutions. The people are terrific to work with and the sense of family is strong. I like working for an organization that has clearly defined values and lives them out in their decisions and actions.

    Cons

    Not all areas are clearly aligned with each other and funding for important infrastructure is not always avaiable.

    Keep moving forward in the direction we are headed.

    Pros

    local icon, heavily supported by locals. most staff members good people, still greeted with enthusiasm and affection when I come in.

    Cons

    Nepotism raises its ugly head. Favoritism is rampant. Written warnings are fabricated. Management has a recurring habit of getting rid of anyone they feel is threatening their position. Upper management has no clue how to handle a restaurant (hotel) so they can't be bothered with the truth as they don't know what to do with it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to the supervisors & the majority of staff. Open your mind to something besides the comfortable black and white rules in front of you. Why is it supervisors last less than a year, even though they're doing a GREAT job? To restaurant management and the liars on staff: one day this will all come back to bite you.
