Leadership vs. Management: Sage has the latter. Old guard being protected in some "mysterious" way--and it isn't necessarily due to skill--result: engenders elitist attitude without justification. HR is newspeak for Lawsuit Prevention. Keep your mouth shut and smile when served the latest ideas for success.

Advice to Senior Management

Forget the "low hanging fruit" and develop a vision--like that of the founder who was so unceremoniously shown the door.
