    Pros

Sageworks has a reasonably pleasant office environment. There are very talented people there who, with any luck, will turn their experience at Sageworks into better opportunities.

    Cons

The company has high expectations, while providing little support or training. Their ideas about the role of sales is outdated and sales does not benefit from any significant lead generation from a marketing department. Creative and out-of-the-box thinking from the sales team is not rewarded and more emphasis is placed on endless cold calling. It is no wonder that Sageworks has been, and remains, a revolving door of talent, to the point where talent needs to go elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to focus their efforts on a functional structure and developing personnel. Stop focusing on the issues that have very little impact while grossly ignoring issues that could lead to greater success for the company and its employees.
