Pros

Cons

have some bad managers with horrid tempers who act unprofessional. HR does nothing to correct this. Poor pay and benefits.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

get rid of bad management, reprimand HR for not addressing this issue effectively, less red tape, better pay + benefits

    I worked at Saint-Gobain

    Pros

Good pay relative to the jobs available in the area.

    Cons

Upper management is at odds with the hourly workers on the floor. The company is constantly moving to cut costs and make improvements in efficiency and productivity, but will choose and implement actions and policies that dont accomplish these objectives. The workers themselves dont really care about the job, they work there because its pays and dont commit tot eh company, like fast food workers. Unlike fastfood, the products made are high cost and quality to be used by places like NASA, Harley Davidson, etc. Combine this with VPs who push production numbers at any cost, you have a place that is terrible to work at.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your arrogance and actions/decisions perpetuates the problems you strive to fix, namely productivity, efficiency, employee loyalty and respect.
