I have been working at Saint Leo University full-time for more than a year

Pros

The pay for what you do is pretty good for the area. Benefits are good and the hours are not bad either. Non Profit University.

Cons

30 minute lunches, scheduled 15 minute breaks. You have to earn your vacation first; not allowed to take vacation with no pay; even if the employee wants it.
You better be liked to be able to advance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is not one way to do things. If an employee produces yet isnt the way you like; re-evaluate your management. Everyone does not fit in one mold.
It is more expensive to hire than it is to just keep your current emplyees happy.

I have been working at Saint Leo University part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Easy work, and a pretty nice place to work. Everyone is friendly. On site cafeteria (though not free). On site Gym and Pool as well.

    Cons

Dealing with people is not a very fun thing to do. You have to go slow when talking with students because most don't understand what you are trying to say.

I have been working at Saint Leo University

    Pros

Great benifits, tuition remission. You are able to go to college for free. Masters degrees available too! You could even complete your PHD.

    Cons

Hard to take time off at your disclosure. Sometimes have to work weekends for special college events and purposes. Sometimes can be hectic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to come up with a solution for employee burn out. Most employees are burnt out. Implement a little fun in the workplace.
