Pros

Innovative company with powerful products. Overall atmosphere is incredible and you will develop some great relationships.

Cons

They want fresh minds in order to mold them into the "Salesforce" way. It's more important to build your brand and network internally rather do your job. No communication is shared about the sales process and they will continuously throw curveballs at you.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to become more organized and stop leaving your employees in the dark.

Was great. Now the chaos we used to thrive on is making it hard to grow up.

    Pros

Responds quickly to change, lots of energy in R&D to find new and better ways of doing things. Tuning into metrics to find problems and fix them. Killer pay and benefits, and they actively refresh these every year.

    Cons

Lots of women leaving the company (some forced out). Perhaps the women here get tired of being judged weak if cooperative, bossy if strong. Unclear how many people understand the issue is not a "fix the women" problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help your middle managers understand their leadership role. Ship feels slightly adrift, which always attracts sharks. Don't be fooled by direct reports who are good at "managing up," look at basic metrics and overall patterns. Confirmation bias is a real threat at this stage, and we're more susceptible than the average company to ingroup bias, because fifteen years ago, we did something no one else did.

    Pros

High bar for performance means you will excel in your career quickly. Lots of learning to be had. They continue to define the cloud business model so soak it all up as fast as you can.

    Cons

Executive teams have and continue to make questionable leadership appointments. Leadership is heavy on fire drills and fear. Culture could use a dose of respect for peers, directs and cross functional teams.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a close look at the culture your top leadership team is building- specifically how they manage and treat their teams.
