I worked at Salesforce.com full-time for more than a year

Pros

Lots of very talented people
Great ecosystem of partners and related business
Good product

Cons

The culture in marketing is dog eat dog. If you want to make a difference or actually enjoy your work, don't go to Salesforce. There is so much self aggrandizing and so many people who are fighting to rise above each other, you can't relax and just do your job. Too many people trying to do too much. It is like a sweat shop. Expectations are over the top, too.

CEO thinks way too highly of himself, and it feels like he's a cult leader instead of just a good leader!!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop taking yourselves so seriously! You are selling a product, not saving lives. The churn in the company should be a sign that something is wrong, and that you are too focused on ruling the world and not enough on the customer.
