Pros

Growing company, Easy access to HR

Cons

They dont allow negative PTO, have to use online trainings, no in person training provided

    seem to have a very structed organization

    Cons

    Sr. MGMT is not friendly to the worker--they are aloof--they are forgetting who brings in the revenues.

    Advice to Management

    come back to the small business feel..become people-friendly.

    I worked at Salient Federal Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Besides location I cannot find any except maybe salary

    Cons

    * Huge turnover, everyother week somebody was leaving the company, even people who recently joined quit within a few months. * Disastrous management. Have no idea how software works. * Lack of leadership in technology area, years behind competition.

    Advice to Management

    Huge turnover is a clear sign that your employees are very disatisfied in the end you spend 50% or more of your earnings in labour make sense to focus on your principal asset = Employees. Employees are key, make them feel part of your family not a machine. You are throwing them into your projects and then you don't care how they do, feel about it. There's no link to HQ therefore they will fly away from you as soon as they can.
