I have been working at Salon Development Corporation

    Pros

A large corporation that treats you as one of their family. It's one of the places you can work for and your voice is heard and you are not just a number. The owner takes pride in his company employees and customers. He would give you the shirt off his back. Truly an amazing place to be and it's no wonder the same family has owned this company for 50 years!

    Cons

The only con is that they don't have locations across the US. This company should be global.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just keep me along for the ride for another 50 years. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. It's the best decision I've ever made for a job!

I worked at Salon Development Corporation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    High Traffic,product and retail options

    Cons

Very unorganized High turnover with employees. No appts for clients. Many clients leave . Not a place to build a clientele . Prices are low you will have to work many hours for a basic salary. Great for beignets that are not over 21 years o age.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with staff hire better stylists and managers. Most of the managers need a makeover. They look unprofessional and also look like they might have personal issues.
Many employees I had met were unhappy with district management. Very rude

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
