I worked at Salvation Army full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Co-workers were friendly and helpful.
Hours were flexible.
Health benefits are great.
The work is incredibly satisfying

Cons

The way TSA is structured can lead to conflicting goals.
Communication at times is lax and information can get lost.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

More communication is needed.

    I have been working at Salvation Army full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    structured, caring, community based, humanity promoted with in and out. Fair breaks, works employees sched to meet both their work life and home life.

    Cons

    As far as I can see there are none

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management can always improve. I am management but my advice is to always remember to promote humanity with in and place great value on those who work for you and the company.

    I have been working at Salvation Army full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Family orientated and a pleasent place to work Officers are caring and helpful and great ministers.

    Cons

    Pay is a little less then for profit and some Officers are unqualified for the positiions they hold.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Employ more professionals and pay more up front to protect the assest and the company.
