Pros

It's a non-profit that really does good, or at least tries. They really treat their employees well. Lots of holiday time. The work environment is very relaxed. A lot of parties and events throughout the year. The healthcare benefits, as well as others are really good too. A lot of families (couples, cousins, siblings, grandparents, etc) work together here.

Cons

Because it is a religious organization at it's core, some might not feel comfortable. However, the people who work here don't seem to push it on those who might not believe the same things. Again, it really depends on each individual though. The dress code can seem strict sometimes, but again I think it is also due to the fact that it is a religious non-profit that doesn't want to portray anything contrary to it's mission. It's understandable.

Advice to Management

It's already a really great place to work, but sometimes it feels a little uptight.

    Pros

You help others when another organization gives you the money. That is sad in itself ,too. It is nice to relieve someone elses pain

    Cons

You are nothing. Money is not used properly. They pay everything for the Commanding Officers but pay poverty level income when it comes to other employees. There is no chance to go anywhere.
Donations are used on to pay for the buildings they use, rent or mortgage, electric bills, etc.
The clients bills are paid through money given to the organization from other organizations. Seems to me that would leave money to pay the employees better

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees! Charity should start with your employees.
Christian practices should not be left at home! Be kind and don't take stress out on those in your office.Do not pick and choose times you care to be professional but always be that way.
