Pros

Nothing good about this company. Absolutely NOTHING.

Cons

1. Computerized scheduling. (every single person i worked with complained about losing hours when they started using this new system)
2. I never got the job training i needed to do well and i was fired for it.
3. Managers make a lot more money than me but stand around doing nothing. their main job is to bring change to us and they cant even do that efficiently.
4. Their policies make you feel like you can't be human. (e.g. I called off for being sick and was written up for it)

Advice to Management

Close down your company or allow a union to form. This is a disgusting and cruel place to work at.

    Pros

Pay is great at first. Bonus. Title

    Cons

Long hours. Company owns you. Must be a brown nose to get anywhere.

    Advice to Management

General manager, co-manager and market manager are not on same page. Several heads to answer to. All contradict each other. You are middle management and you are treaded as such.

    Pros

Sam's club is a really friendly environment to work at and they give you the best opportunities to move up the employment ladder and get a better position. The pay is better than most jobs and you get a nice amount of hours.

    Cons

As a cashier there is far too much stress put upon us to upgrade memberships, have members sign up for credit and renewals.
