I have been working at Sam's Club part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Decent pay, benefits progressively get better the longer you work there.

Cons

Asking too much for cashiers, some stupid rules, push sales way too hard with little to no reward. Recycling the same members that say no dozens of times day by day. Limited hours for part time. Little time to train for other areas.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change way some things are done or increase pay

    decent salary, flexible scheduling, good co-workers

    company does not live up to what it promises, company lacks integrity, training programs not what they appear to be.

    Be apart of what of what is truly going on in your stores company wide. So many unhappy people at the PTand FT level that it's staggering.

    the start off rate is alright

    Cons

    pressure's you about selling memberships, gets angry when you sick and you have to call out. SHOW'S A LOT OF FAVORTISM!!! If you don't get any plus,credits, or renewals they threaten to write you up because they feel its you're fault

    have better respect for your employee's
