Good overall

Grocery Associate (Current Employee)
Lubbock, TX

I have been working at Sam's Club part-time for less than a year

Pros-Plenty of chances to move around within the club.
-Good pay
-Hard work gets noticed
-Good environment to work in
-Plenty of break and lunch time
-The café isn't bad

Cons-Being a cashier sucks, because the MSS's never get off your back. (Even after hitting your daily goal of 2 or 3)
-They are not very flexible
-If your schedule sais you get off at 8:30 you are there till around10.
-Floor associate will often get put on a register when we get to busy.
-If you close you are not aloud to leave until every department is ready to leave.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire more cashiers so the floor associates don't have to waste time up front.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
