I have been working at Sam's Club part-time for more than a year

Pros

Sam's Club pharmacy is a great place to work. I always get Sundays off since the pharmacy is not open. I also get 10 hour work shifts, which translates to 4 day work weeks.

Cons

Long 10 hour shifts and have to work every other Saturday.

It was okay for a part-time job during school.

I worked at Sam's Club part-time for more than a year

    Pros

There is profit sharing, so it is nice to get extra money if the store does well. Most of the hourly employees are nice and fun to work with.

    Cons

There are unrealistic expectations of what can get done. Many departments are understaffed, making it hard to get work done, since you end up doing other peoples' jobs, while still doing your own. Under-staffing also causes items to not be stocked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire more people.

There were cool managers there but in the end it is retail.

I worked at Sam's Club part-time for less than a year

    Pros

upper management there are nice and generally cool people (at least in my location in Kokomo, IN.)
The work there is not that physically demanding.
They have a pretty good break room.

    Cons

It is retail and you will have to deal with the woes of it. The only people who make good money are the coaches and above. For me, the job could be really boring and monotonous at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
