Pros

Great location in Corvallis
Friendly environment
Pay is in line with the area
Stood by their workforce in 2008 and avoided layoffs

Cons

Understaffed and very hard to sign on new employees currently
All director's positions in IT were cut with no warning and no explanation which created a tense environment.
Facilities are cramped, everyone is in a cube

Advice to Management

Get your managers trained and review them on a regular basis. You lose more people that way than any other. Good managers create an air of calm and purpose. Poor ones create an environment of fear and resentment that results in high turnover.

    Pros

Offers full time employees decent benefit compensation package.

    Cons

Difficult for growth. Someone with a college degree is getting paid far less than someone straight out of high school. The supervisors and managers thrive in micro management, varies on which department you work. Many of the people working there either got the job because they knew someone or have a family member working in the company. Also, it is the largest employer in Corvallis.

    Advice to Management

Try hiring outside the company for upper management positions. Listen to employees and not use intimidation as a scare tactic for increasing work production.

    Pros

Able to get time off anytime needed with minimal notice. Not micromanaged.

    Cons

Minimal growth opportunities. Compensation for work completed is below normal for this area. Most employees have little to no experience outside the company.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to employees when they have ideas or experience in an area.
