Pros – Great benefits - 401K, Medical, Bonus and Employee Gifts
Salary is decent
Misery makes close friendships
Pride of working for a top consumer electronics company
No downsizing - very stable company
It's a job

Cons – Training is poor - trial by fire
Afraid of making changes to traditional methods
Too much bureaucracy
Too many managers not enough workers
Too much work for the few workers
Long hours, overtime is expected, no work life balance
High turnovers
Control comes from Korea
Culture clash between american and korean ways
Fingerpointing for failures
questionable promotions and mid level managers
The smart good workers leave and find a better company

Advice to Senior Management – Fix the ERP system, cultivate and ask opinions from staff (they seem to know more about their jobs than immediate managers), need to work on the work/life balance, promote for skill and accomplishments- not by years of service. Simplify processes- too many required approvals to do things.
