I worked at Samtec full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Benefits are great, work schedulesare good, opportunities for advancements inside the company are there if you have the desires. Good people to work around!!!

Cons

Sometimes Samtec has the wrong people in supervisor positions I feel and not that their bad peoples. I just feel they shouldn't have them positions it goes to their heads are they abuse their authority and two much favoritism goes on around them.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Watchout who you make supervisors or lead me!!

    Pros

    Flexibility in work hours & benefits, open communication from management, actual bonus is generous, workforce retention is admirable given economic conditions

    Cons

    Compensation plan can be mysterious, certain management is unclear and does not demonstrate clear direction, satellite offices or facilities feel secluded or isolated

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up open communication and establish clear goals for lower-level management, remove compensation plan reference as bonus pay when it's not (at times)
