SanDisk – “A little insight into SanDisk Limited in Japan.”

SanDisk Anonymous in Yokkaichi, Mie-ken (Japan):   (Past Employee - 2007)

Pros

Interesting products to work on. Provides pretty good salary stack for Japan.

Cons

Yokkaichi fab team is extremely disconnected from US and other offices. There are difficulties that also arise from working with joint venture partners. There is no SanDisk cultural identity in this joint venture partnership either.

Advice to Senior Management

Provide more of a SanDisk identity for your Japanese subsidiary.
