I worked at SanDisk full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Strong, continuous leadership in Sanjay. The world is moving to Flash and SanDisk is poised to benefit from this move.

Cons

The company has become a supply chain machine and is not doing product innovation. Being efficient is great but it is not a source of long term competitive advantage.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on building great products with strong marketing.

I have been working at SanDisk full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

nothing. Good pay maybe. thats it.

    Cons

no communication, no incentive. no smiles, work late, no work life balance. bonus only goes to the ones that are in like slim with management, or are Israeli. if not one of them, then kiss it bye.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Diversify. Hire local employees. stop bringing in employees from other countries. Mine your personnel from local areas. SEND YOUR MANAGERS TO MANAGEMENT TRAINING. IT IS IMPERATIVE. ESPECIALLY IN THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT. SKILLS LACK, ESPECIALLY PERSON TO PERSON

    Negative Outlook
