    Pros

    Flexible with time off.
    Minimal experience needed.
Good stepping stone to better employment.
Toe the company line and you have a job for life, any other weaknesses or failings will be overlooked.

    Cons

Hard work and initiative not recognized.
    Culture of yes men.
    Salary well below industry standard.
    Incompetent management.

    Advice to Management

    Poor salary attracts substandard employees.
    Focus on core business.
Culture of yes men and cronyism hurts the business bottom line.
Customer is not always right. Better to have a small disagreement now, than a large, potentially client losing problem further down the line.
Listen to your employees on the coal face. They see first hand what is working and what isn't.
