I have been working at Sanofi U.S.

Pros

Great work/life balance
Very good benefits since it is a French company

Cons

It is amazing how the second largest pharma company in EU survives with the quality of senior leadership. Who would have thought that no prior pharmaceutical company experience is required to assume a VP-level position???????? It is unfortunate that this can be such a great company, but just way too much politics and poor decision-making by leadership from top to bottom.

When I began it was a great place to work, but during the transformation it became a very stressful working environment.

    I worked at Sanofi U.S.

    Pros

Sanofi-Aventis had the best benefits. The time off after having a baby and also the amount of vacation time. Medical benefits were also top notch.

    Cons

During the transformation S-A became a very stressful place to work. Job security is a large part of being satisfied at work and when in a constant state of fear that you may lose your job, tomorrow or next month it causes a lot of anxiety.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As I said, when I first began at sanofi it was a great place to work, but as the years went on it became very stressful. I recommend getting input from your employees and if they really cared, they would consistently stay on top of the feedback and make changes so that their employees were happy.
