I have been working at Sapient Global Markets full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Great work life balance, and a focus on culture that is probably unmatched in other consulting firms. Learning opportunities for those staffed on a project are vast.

Cons

When I first started the focus was on delivery, but lately many "projects" have been staff augmentation type roles with little to no growth for the consultant. Compensation is below market and not very competitive. Some consultants can spend months on the bench with no assistance from management to get them staffed. Turnover is also very high.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on projects that bring out the best in your consultants, and try to stay away from staff augmentation projects. Focus on developing others beyond random learning groups. To keep utilization up for those on the bench, give them non-billable roles on active projects. I mean hey, you are paying for them anyway.

    Pros

Pay - higher than average but what's your dignity worth. Avoid joining Sapient at all cost or regret your days here n

    Cons

Ethically challenged people. Perhaps one review will keep someone else from working there. “Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all who ever have.”

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strictly for people from India. Extremely prejudiced environment that mock and ridicule people from the USA. Preaches a set of values that no one follows. Still considering litigation.
