At this company you'll grow. But in order to grow, you'll very nearly kill yourself.

I have been working at Sapient full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you work well and have a good attitude, you will grow very fast. The projects are technically challenging and you can, a lot of times choose what you want to do.

    Cons

The projects are in a firefighting mode from the day one. You will always be working overtime. Working 10 hours a day has almost become a norm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop saying yes to everything the client says.

    I worked at Sapient

    Pros

Meeting employees from other cities made me want to work with them. Everyone at HQ is accessible and a resource to the team from the bottom up.

    Cons

My home office was not the same as the dynamic elsewhere. The director was disconnected from the team and did not clearly plan a strategy for our service. The managers were up and down with their moods and demanded projects beyond the retainer, poorly mismanaged time allocations, expected us to stay significantly later than the rest of the office, deadlines were usually COB or EOD tomorrow. It was impossible to ideate, delivery work that was schedule, and stay on the forefront of the industry with only 10 working hours a day. Being honest about what you could turn around quickly and what had to be pushed back made you a target for a bad mood attitude.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Where to begin...you have great employees but misdirected leadership that is not leading or abusing your idea engineers.
