    Pros

Strong culture of client-focused delivery and creativity. Great though leadership and a wealth of information on advertising, digital media, and creative work

    Cons

Extremely fragmented organization structure means a quality employment experience is oftentimes based on luck rather than skills. The staffing team doesn't seem to be able to adequately match employees to projects and roles without significant hand-holding from both project teams and individuals. Internal processes (e.g. reviews, promotions, staffing) are obfuscated by poor communications and antiquated internal systems. Even the finance team has committed several snafus in recent years around not sending out W2's for employees on time.

Organization scaling seems to have accelerated beyond the capabilities of the current internal teams, which has taken a toll on all employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Define an organization vision, and "strengthen the core" of the organization to protect the internal teams from degrading any further

Another number. Be part of a machine. But get paid for it.

I worked at Sapient full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Really talented pool of people. Access to several different disciplines and cultures world-wide. SMEs do really exist and they are at Sapient and infusing their input into daily work- great to learn from. Competitive salaries and benefits, if you negotiate in right, from the start.

    Cons

Advancing within company very difficult. The company, while it is a well-oiled machine, is a machine nonetheless. YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide ways to grow careers for individuals within your disciplines. Make time for your employees, meet with them, mentor them. Be aware and connected to your employees. Avoid throwing others under the bus to benefit yourself.
