I have been working at Sapient full-time (more than an year)

Pros

No work life balance ,Good infrastructure,Brand name ,Salary hike(but only once ), very easy interview ,provides cab while interview

Cons

No work life balance, force you to work on Saturday, Sunday and even on public holidays no comp off no over time, no flexi timing, senior- management relax and enjoys and L1 and L2 works late night and sacrifices their health . no learning as you don’t have that time for R& D, they are not interested in innovation but how to bill more to their clients .To much micro management every tasks is allocated time in hours not more than 1-2 hours rarely you can complete the tasks so you have to work late and manager will say "finish all your tasks and than only you can go home ." Too much updates from senior managements . you will get dinner only when you stay more than 11 pm . mostly the team in which you will work are lacking in training and non efficient workers so you will have to took that load also .projects are not more than 3 months duration .So in a year you might be working on 4 different projects and you have to stretch late night .you will surly see this type of mail "skip the lunch, finish all tasks, Saturday and Sunday working, update your leaves in tracker if approved than u can take leave . " Too much meetings as senior managements will brush up their com skills and than u have to work late night .

Not getting new projects so putting more pressure on employees to work on more than one project at a time to earn more profit .

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Control your managers ,share profit with technical workers rather than non technical managers ,Treat your employees like human being they are not machine .

I have been working at Sapient full-time

    Pros

nice people and good culture, freedom to get into anything that you want to take up. you choose your growth path

    Cons

The leadership still wants to operate like an entrepreneurial set up which makes no sense when the company has been talking for years about focusing on increasing scale of operation and focusing on efficiency. this does not allow any people processes to stabilize(changes almost every 6 months).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
