I worked at Sasken full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Simple people at leadership levels. Good focus on embedded technology. office in a central location. Can work with top companies like qualcomm, TI etc. Excellent prospects, if you are in any cost cutting function.

    Cons

No job security. If you are not billed, then be prepared to be interviewed for any kind of skill. Pipeline of projects limited. If your project is ramping down, start looking out for a new job. Most people are sent to customer locations, but the company removes local onsite allowance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In 2004/05, Sasken meant something. It was maybe one fifth the size of Cognizant or HCL. Now, it is one fiftieth their size. While even they have changed CEOs, Sasken is stuck with same leadership at the top. R&D company cannot be run by accountants only.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
