Pros

Very consequent and sticking to: We say what we do and we do what we say. Loyal to employees. Very lean organization. Requires inititive but provides opportunities.

Cons

Sometimes inflexible to adapt and fix things that are broken or needing improvement

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Current Employee - Plant Support Engineer in Secunda (South Africa)

I have been working at Sasol full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance and training budget that enables you to hone your skills. Post graduate studies supported as long as the studies are in the same line as your current job. Good pay

    Cons

Located in small town. Growth opportunities in other business units can be limited by your line manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Proper succession planning will prevent the need for managers to feel the need to keep their resource for themselves. This will allow people to move within the organization as opposed to seeking opportunities in other companies.
