    I worked at Saudi Aramco

    Pros

Living on the beach, no living expenses, very high pay, personal staff is very friendly.

    Cons

Locals not too bright, hot weather, and the locally preferred workforce is not very educated or qualified. But they are preferred.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great job. You've really done an excellent job. Advice? Hire more expats for quality assurance in everything, as they were born in countries that you strive to be like.

Current Employee - Planning Analyst in Dhahran (Saudi Arabia)
Current Employee - Planning Analyst in Dhahran (Saudi Arabia)

I have been working at Saudi Aramco full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

It is the employee's passion in his career that works - many don't believe my experience. However, you need to learn each business process of your department with in-depth knowledge of company's policies in relation to your department's internal procedures. You then become a focal contact (reference) at all times. That's your success.

    Cons

Competence is no doubt - one of the issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Engage employees with knowledge workers with accountability and connect with reward system. Conduct semi-annual test across the company targeting each job ladder. This way, it is easy to know the level of competency reached in each job ladder and analyze individual employee productivity.
