I have been working at Saudi Aramco full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Is a great place overall to work. The muliticultural environment makes it very interesting.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement if you are not a Saudi citizen..

Advice to Management

Keep investing in the young people. But revamp the PDP program and give them a real job when you hire them. Great to expose them to other organizations but fast track it a bit. Build some new housing and schools in the Main Camp. The housing is getting a bit worn and weary.

I worked at Saudi Aramco full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Lots of free time, usually because the work is not challenging. - Living expense is very cheap. - High pay if you American, Saudis, or Europeans.

    Cons

    - Absolutely no career opportunity unless you somehow managed to please your boss, which usually not related to how well you do your job.

    Advice to Management

Look for the talented people, you have many of them, and use their skills instead of wasting it on doing mediocre tasks.
