I have been working at Saudi Aramco

Pros

Excellent benefits package, great community life, good schools, safe quiet surroundings, exposure to different cultures, good salary, interesting work and plenty of it. Great vacation package and easy to reach superb and exotic destinations (e.g., India, Nepal, China, Philippines, Thialand, other Gulf States, etc.). Friendly people. 401K is matched by company at 9%, retirement pension is outstanding and rare in today's corporate world. Can take lump sum payment at early retirement (10 years service and over 50 years of age).

Cons

You are away from the US. Some people find this disconcerting at first, but it does lessen with time. Prices in community are rising. Some communication problems. Some restrictions on daily westernized lifestyle.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase cost of living and expatriate premium benefits greatly as these are a bit outdated.

I worked at Saudi Aramco as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Good company, good payment, very good work conditions, a vision to ensure the future of the saudi arabian people because SAUDI ARAMCO represent 75% Saudi ARABIA

    Cons

Here i find what is the arabian culture, habits, different hours to work, the values of this company and the golden rules must be respected very strict, is a requirement of the management, but the restrictions and social life after work program it be easy to pass when you look in personal bank account.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Safety must respect all the time, take a chance for a people to maked a mistake in this documents, because is not a good ideea to terminate one contract without tell their person were is problem.
The employees for the contractor = vendor is treated different like Aramco employees. Check how is treated expats by the contractors.
